Labor Day slots madness!
September 17, 2008 · Print This Article
More slots news for you now folks and this time it’s directly relating to those lovely Yanks and Labor Day. For those not in the know, labor day is “a day off for working citizens”, so pretty much the same as the UK’s bank holidays. Anyway, enough of the culture lesson, let’s talk slots!
In Pennysylvania, slots parlors apparently reached their second highest betting levels ever, with wagers across the state totalling in at the grand sum of $449.2 million over the week and wagers were up 9% when compared with the previous week. One casino that has done particularly well is Mount Airy, who earned $56.3 million on wagers last week…An all time record for them!
Not bad work if you can get it…Perhaps the USA should have more labour days.
